Terms & Conditions

EIHL Dream Team is an independent, fan-run fantasy hockey competition based on the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Elite Ice Hockey League or any of its member clubs. Club names, logos, and player names are used for identification purposes within the competition only.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the EIHL Dream Team website and mobile app (together, the “Service”) and your entry into the Dream Team competition (the “Competition”). By creating an account or entering the Competition, you agree to these terms.

The Competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to enter.

You may hold only one account and one entered team per season. Multiple accounts or teams belonging to the same person may be removed from the Competition without refund.

Entry to the Competition requires building a 19-player squad within the roster rules set out in the app, and paying the entry fee shown at checkout for the current season.

A portion of every entry fee is donated to Mind, as stated on the site at the time of entry. The remainder covers running costs of the Competition, including hosting, development, and prizes where applicable.

Entry fees are processed via Stripe on the website, or via Apple/Google in-app purchase on mobile. Once your entry is confirmed, it is final for that season subject to the transfer and squad-change rules in the app.

Entry fees are non-refundable once your team has been successfully entered into the Competition, including if you later change your mind, stop playing, or delete your account.

If a technical error on our part causes a duplicate charge or a failed entry that took payment, contact us and we will investigate and refund where appropriate.

Your squad, transfers, and captaincy selections must be made through the app and are subject to the roster rules (squad size, club limits, minimum British players) and deadlines described there.

Scoring is calculated by our backend based on official EIHL statistics and the scoring rules published in the app. We aim for accuracy but do not guarantee that source statistics are error-free; corrections may be applied retroactively where reasonably possible.

Any attempt to manipulate scoring, exploit bugs for competitive advantage, or interfere with other managers' teams may result in removal from the Competition without refund.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Where prizes are offered for a given season, the prize structure and eligibility criteria will be published on the site ahead of that season. We reserve the right to verify eligibility before awarding a prize.

The Service is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for losses arising from downtime, data errors, or issues outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot be limited under UK law.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a new season's rules or pricing. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
